Tesla's Full Self-Driving price is set to rise by 25 per cent to $15,000

 

It will cost $15,000 for Tesla's full self-driving feature, says Musk

The CEO of Tesla, Elon Musk, announced on his Twitter account that the price of the company's 'Full Self-Driving' (FSD) software would double in North America from $US12,000 to $US15,000 ($AU17,400 to $AU21,700).

A Tesla vehicle owner will have to pay more for its operating system, known as the 'Full Self-Driving' version, for the second time this year just for North America.

Tesla is preparing to hike the price of its controversial autonomous driving technology by 25 percent in the US starting on 5 September 2022.

Full Self-Driving price is set to rise

In the last nine months, the price has increased by 50 percent, It's the second price hike this year for the technology. A rise in the cost of FSD was announced by the electric carmaker back in January 2022, increasing it from $10,000.
