As a result of Tuesday's vote by Twitter shareholders, Elon Musk's $44 billion takeover was approved. The billionaire has deferred this deal to a court case in which he attempts to cancel it. The majority of Twitter shareholders voted in favour of Elon Musk's $44 billion acquisition of the social media company on Monday, 12th September, according to individuals familiar with the tally.
